Cafe Gollier Westend München Munich Liliencronlovescoffee

First time in the westend for me! I don’t know why but I’ve never been to the westend before. It is a super cool area and so my first cafe on the list is “Cafe Gollier”. Nevertheless we went there Sunday afternoon, they still had great cakes and sweets. i decided to have a chocolate-cherry cake with cappuccino. The prices are more than fair (see pics). The location is top, but unfortunately you can’t catch a sunny spot in the afternoon in autumn because the houses in front of the cafe are too tall.

Worth a visit, cool place but still cosy and nice!

Cafe Sonnenschein@ Gietlstraße 17 Giesing, 81541 München

BEST Marmor cake in town or better said: best MARMOR-cake in TOWN!!! I love having coffee with cake or muffins and ate a lot. But this cake is really, really different: because it ist he best, ever had. I do not know what they did differently but this cake was so fresh, soft and tasty! Also the coffee is nice, the cafe is very small and cosy. You can sit inside and outside and newspapers are offered. There are several cakes to choose from, but I really recommend the Marmor – cake! The coffee is hidden in the Gietlstraße, but close to Silberhornstraße. It is a day-café which means that they regularly close at 5p.m. Nothing for working people but for kids, moms and dads, teachers (I met some there) or everyone who is on vacation. Worth a try, especially because in this area there are not many interesting cafes!

Man versus Machine @Müllerstraße 23, 80469 München / Munich

Continuing the coffee-tour through Munich, this time: Man Versus Machine. A well known place in the Müllerstraße for fancy coffee and high quality beans. This place is a location for hipsters, coffee lovers and other cool people. When you visit this place, you will definitely meet creative people and/or business guys. The cappuccino is totally different from any other coffee shop I visited. The cappuccino is a bit sour, I do not know where this flavor comes from but it tastes reallly differently! The coffees look super nice because they are always made by qualified barristas. They serve cakes, banana bread or other sweet things. If you are looking for a cool place and different taste of coffee you are used to, visit this place!

Kaffeemanufaktur @ Herrenstraße 19, Moosburg (around MUNICH)

Visiting the outback! Kaffeemanufaktur is not only a nice place to enjoy one of the best cappuccinos but also a cool place to buy chocolate, truffles or coffee accessories. The main speciality there is the home-roasted coffee. They offer self-made cookies and cakes, always changing. A cool place to visit for a quick cappuccino, nothing to chill for longer.

Brown’s Tea Bar @Türkenstraße 60, 80799 München Munich

I know you can’t really do it: drink coffee in a tea house. But the weather was too good for tea (in my opinion) so we ordered cappuccino. It was too big and not really good. Therefore I will definitely go for tea the next time! Cool furniture&style, great cakes and tons of sorts of tea to choose from. 2 small tables outside are very nice in the late afternoon because it is still sunny there.
